About Divina D'Anna

Divina D’Anna is a proud Kimberley Aboriginal women whose bloodlines connect her to both the East and the West Kimberley.  Born and raised in Broome, she is a Yawuru, Nimanburr and Bardi woman, and has lived in the Kimberley her whole life.

Divina has served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly since her election in 2021. In June 2023 her hard work and advocacy for people in the Kimberley electorate saw her appointed to the role of Parliamentary Secretary to Deputy Premier Hon. Rita Saffioti MLA in June 2023, serving in the portfolios of Tourism, Treasury and Transport.

Being the mother of four children and grandmother of five, Divina has a vested interest in making sure the Kimberley is a place where current and future generations thrive. Her primary focus is on building a stronger, more cohesive community and believes that with courage, support and commitment she can bring the voices of the Kimberley people to the Parliament of Western Australia to be heard and ensure that the views of Kimberley people are known throughout the State.
